It's only Tuesday. . .

Ran to Friday's last night, because I wanted another pair of their cargo pants (loved the first pair that I got) and while there, picked up a few more items. I have only 72L now, thanks to Friday. You're welcome. . .
But I bought this jacket, it's a new release of theirs, called the Tourist Jacket and it comes in a variety of colors. I may be buying more later, because I really liked this jacket. Just took a bit of resizing (no resizer script) to fit over my avi's breasts, but after that, it was ready to go.

50% OFF ALL SKINS @ MAINSTORE

Well Versed has released a new skin line called Exile today and in celebration of that and the new mainstore at Fierce Island, we're having a 50% off sale on skins. That's right, all single skins are now only 300L and fat packs are also on sale!!
I've done some work on the new skins and I'm much happier with the shading and highlights, which are less dramatic than the last skin line, Amour. I may be adding the Bronze tone later, but as of right now, only the Sunkissed and Cream skintones are available. However, this time around, I've included light eyebrows, so each makeup comes with a light and dark version.
The makeup, itself, is edgy, colorful and not for the less adventurous *grin* They were great fun to make and even more so to wear. Hope that you enjoy!

(CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE) First image is the ad, the second is the Cream tone and last image is the Sunkissed tone.

Don't forget to drop by the store (Slurl is on links bar on left hand side of blog) while the sale is going on!

Real Fast

A really fast one or I'll be late for work.
One thing that's so great about the products at Well Versed is that even though there are two designers (myself [Poe Rozenberg] and Jamie Rozenberg) our stuff mixes and matches well. So you get affordable prices, original handpainted designs that are great quality and the ability to mingle our items with one another or introduce them into what's already in your inventory.
The following come from Burlesque in teal, thrown together with the Liquid latex top in teal and the pants from Black Star. These are really great pants, love them.
Then we have the Grunged mini in pink with the pink 609s jeans (which come with prim cuffs or prim straight legs). We also have the top from Black Star with 609s in Vintage. Hair is from Maitreya (Green).

*edited to add that skins are also from Well Versed and to add a link. . .

Six a.m. post

I've seen other bloggers talk about how they suck at titles. Don't expect me to be much better. Just a warning there, I suppose.
I have a Live Journal, one that I (once upon a time) was very active in keeping updated; long story short. . .there was drama (don't ever date gun.bois online) and what had once been my safe haven turned into some place I hated the sight of. I lost track of it and when I tried to go back, there were too many changes for me to be happy with.
And no one really seemed to care about the new life that I had (another long story that I'll spare you from) or about my active interest in Second Life.
Blogging, I hope, will change that. Because here people care about Second Life, they recognize it for the fun and enjoyment that it gives and I can write about it until my heart's content.
And yet, none of that spcheel had much to do with the day's updates; only some random facts that you might get quizzed on later. Plus, it filled up space.

An announcement. . .Well Versed blog has been added to Metavirtual a syndicated blog in SL! Thank you much for adding us; it's very appreciated. We feel all special and stuff now. *pets Metavirtual* Yes, yes, I am an odd boy.

I suppose that I should stop rambling now and show some cool stuff, eh? Alright, you've talked me into it.

The first outfit came from IndiDesign and is called Kate. I ran to get it when I saw it on someone else's blog and what I love most about it (other than that sexy as hell jacket) is that it includes several version of skirts  and stockings and a lot of layers so that you can mix and match the outfit.

Be sure to click on the pics to enlarge them, by the way. You can see all the great details in them.

Outfit two is another Apple May creation, picked up from my latest shopping spree. It also came with a shawl thing, but I couldn't get it to fit my avatar properly (I don't do stick thin avis, preferring something to hold onto in my women) and whether that's really to do with the shape of Lenore or if it's because I'm an idiot, I couldn't tell you. But still, for under 200L, the outfit was still worth picking up. Love the gloves and skirt.

Well Versed @ Fierce Island officially opened!!

And just like that, Well Versed has officially opened. I really didn't think that it would happen so quickly, to be honest. We went into the design of the open space with barely an idea, yet once we started building, it all seemed to catch and flow smoothly. Jamie and I are veryvery happy with the design of the new store and hope that others will fancy it, as well.

All the products aren't completely up yet, but we've got most of the inventory, including the collars in the previous blog entry.

At the landing point is a stage where the new products will be and be sure to check out the dressing rooms at the main entrance; they're cute as hell and all designed and built by Jamie.

Be sure to join the group so that you can get the special editions skins, available only through the lucky board and will never be sold at the store. We have MM boards, as welll, so give them a click to win some cool stuff.

At the social area where the boards are, we plan on putting our discount items, which we'll put out soon.

Without further chatter from me, check out some photos of the shop. . .

New prim collars coming soon @ Well Versed

Since we're in the process of moving our mainstore, these collars won't be available until we start bringing our inventory into the shop. Good news is that yesterday, Jamie and I made very good process in building, so hopefully it won't be long. For anyone into Lucky Boards and Midnight Mania, stop on over, we have those up right now.
Don't mind the mess if you pop in.

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Fierce%20Island/211/143/32

Right now, there are seventeen collars that are going to be available in a lot of different styles and colors. I'm only going to show a few, though, esp. since I can't get the cut html to work on here for some reason. *pokes at it*

The Kitty print comes in four colors right now: black, blue, pink and red. If requested, I might make other colors. No fat packs available, since these collars are going to be reasonably priced at only 100L each. That's a steal!

Pretty in Pictures

So I'm going for broke here and posting several entries in one day. It might make up for all the time that I've ignored this blog, you think?
In RL I'm a guy, but on SL, I tend to use my female avi as much, if not more than my male one. She's hot. I like to look at her, sue me. And the shopping. Ugh, the ladies have it made on SL.
I call her Lenore and I don't bother with an alt; I don't like alts and besides, by the time that I'd thought of possibly using one, I'd already spent too much money on non.trans stuff for my female avi, so sod it all.
This will be one of those blogs about other people's stuff. And I'm sure that what I'm going to blog about has been blogged to death. I'm behind on the whole blogging thing, although I'm quite a fan of them now. They're addictive, have you noticed?
So. Jamie and I went shopping. No surprise there, it's what we love to get distracted with when we should be working on new releases for Well Versed.
We ended up at Apple May Designs. Wonderful place, if you've never been or don't go often enough. Very nice items for cheap prices. I love stores with a powerful combo like that. The only drawback is you see 'cheap' and buybuybuy, then realize, hey. . .I spent all my money, I thought that this place was cheap.

I'm much too talkative on only half an hour of sleep and a minor hangover, aren't I?
On to the show.

The skin, ugh. . .I have an odd lust going on for the knees. Look at those knees. Seriously, aren't they fantastic?
It's from Atomic and it's from the Grace line-Porcelain-Melon. There are around eight skins in each makeup choice; two lipsticks and each lipstick comes with a normal version, freckled, and cleavage for each of those versions. A lot of options, which is great for the price. Buy them and you'll have knees as great as these.
Of course, the makeup and everything is gorgeous. I also love the back and shoulder blades.
And then there's the ass shot. I take more snapshots of Lenore's ass than should be legal. Trust me, you don't want to know how many photos that I've got on my computer of her luscious booty.
So there you have it. Post number two. I know, the excitement is difficult to contain.- Poe

Well Versed @ Fierce Island

This blog has been sitting here, unplugged, for entirely too long. RL gets in the way too often, but still, that's a weak excuse. Mostly it comes down to the fact that Well Versed is run by two very ADD men who tend to get distracted quicker than you can say the word. On the sum, as often as Jamie or I have intended to get it started, that's as many times as we've found ourselves caught up in other things until it's too late. The blog continues to sit empty.
Until this morning. We've been wanting to find a new mainstore for Well Versed and had a couple of options that we were looking into. We have a side store set up at Fierce Island, so when Sally contacted us and asked us if we wanted one of the mainstores that she has set up there at her mall, we jumped on it.
We get good traffic and sales there, as it is with only our smaller shop; it's great to be able to set up our full shop there and have the potential for more sales. Of course, we know one of our biggest hinderances is our lack of consistant updates. Blame RL again. And I mentioned that ADD thing, right? And a fourteen year old daughter. And a healthy sex life. Roleplay. SL Shopaholics. Two full time jobs. And other stuff like staring at the walls. So yeah, blame those things. But we're hoping this new move will light a fire under us and we can get going with some more updating again.
In any event, welcome to the blog of Well Versed. Sometimes we'll blog about our stuff, sometimes about other people's stuff. We're exciting and unpredictable like that. -.-
